lyrics
Tall on the pinnacle
Stands the untold
My eyes be eagles
To soar the oceans
I shall bleed on the soil
I shall create what your fear
Brother of mine
This is my endless crusade
Above you I build my kingdom
Shine, holy light
I will be blind
Shine, holy light
Burn down my walls.
Heathen denial
My war rages on
Lust for salvation
Evil unfolds
I, the king
I the ruler
No god nor priests
No men to worship
Hear me, spread my word
I reached the sun and stole the flame
I brought light for you to see
I monarch, master,
Stare as I rise
High above the mountains, towering
I alone, I climbed and saw
I cursed God and broke his rules
Above me there’s no law
Reaching redemption
Eden is lost
Foul creation
The God born from man
I saw the dusk and found new light
Alone I wander, I bear this
Now I face the sky
This is some interesting sci-fi / horror post-hardcore. With those synths and melodies, the whole thing sounds like a movie oder videogame soundtrack. An outstanding album with amazing vocals and doomy riffs. Sælzer Bub
You know that point where you have consumed perhaps just a little too much of your chosen intoxicate. That's this album.
Fucking heavy!!! Obstacle of Affliction
Unmaker was my first encounter with LLNN and I was worried that their previous works might not pack the same punch... what a fool I've been.
Loss is short, and we should be grateful. This is soul-crushing in its heavyness. Imagine watching a gigantic orbital station collapse and crash down on earth, seemingly in slow motion: the annihilation of its impact all-encompassing and inevitable. It is the weight of such an expectation that turns Loss into an almost physical threat. Fascinating. David Fischer
On their incredible new album, Swiss group Abraham deliver a relentless assault of punishing noise rock, eight tracks of primal fury. Bandcamp New & Notable Feb 26, 2022
